About Batch Compress

Batch Compress — free, private, browser-based image tool

  1. 1Drop a JPEG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF file on the page, or click to choose one.
  2. 2Pick the options you want.
  3. 3Download the ZIP file.

What Batch Compress does

Squeeze a pile of images smaller in one pass — set the quality, get a ZIP. The result is a ZIP file you download directly.

How it works

Uses Canvas2D and WebGL2 with OffscreenCanvas for parallel processing. Filters run as GPU shaders where supported, falling back to CPU SIMD via WebAssembly. The processing code runs inside the page, so your file is not uploaded to a server — you can confirm this in your browser's DevTools → Network tab.
