What's the difference between MARKDOWN and AI?

How does the MARKDOWN to AI conversion work technically?

Xonvert uses WebAssembly-compiled libraries to decode your MARKDOWN file in-browser, process the document data, and re-encode it as AI. All processing happens on your device's CPU.

What happens to my files after conversion?

Nothing — your files exist only in your browser's memory during conversion. Once you close the page, all data is cleared. No files are stored anywhere.

Will the conversion strip my EXIF or metadata?

Xonvert preserves compatible metadata fields when converting between formats. Some format-specific metadata may not carry over if the target format doesn't support it.
