What's the difference between GLTF and MESH?

glTF 3D Model is open standard for 3d model transmission optimized for the web. MESH 3D Model is generic 3d mesh format used by various simulation tools. Key difference: glTF 3D Model excels at compact, web-optimized with PBR materials — the "JPEG of 3D", while MESH 3D Model offers direct mesh data representation for FEM and simulation.

How does the GLTF to MESH conversion work technically?

Xonvert uses WebAssembly-compiled libraries to decode your GLTF file in-browser, process the 3d model data, and re-encode it as MESH. All processing happens on your device's CPU.

What happens to my files after conversion?
