What is Private Chat?
A private chat room you create with one click and share with a link — no sign-up, no phone number.
The two browsers connect directly to each other (WebRTC). Our server only helps them find each other; the content itself never passes through it and is never stored. Messages go device to device, so there is no chat history on our side to leak. "Connecting…" at the top just means you are waiting for someone to open your link.
Good for
- A quick private conversation without swapping phone numbers
- Sharing files and notes with a small group
- Talking with someone who does not use your messaging app
