MP3 or WAV
MP3 is small and plays everywhere; choose 96 to 320 kbps (192 kbps is the default and sounds transparent for most listening). WAV is uncompressed — larger, but best for editing. Free use encodes up to 192 kbps; Pro allows 320 kbps.
How it works
Web Audio API + AudioWorklet for low-latency DSP, ffmpeg.wasm for codec encoding, and a custom WASM SIMD path for time-stretching and pitch-shifting. The processing code runs inside the page, so your file is not uploaded to a server — you can confirm this in your browser's DevTools → Network tab.
Frequently asked questions
Which inputs are supported?+
